The WORKER at GRISTIDE’S who I chat with tells me of her worries, while trying out various scarfs, masks, and balaclava-like protections.
I can tell she is a warrior who won’t take being railroaded by management.
But I sense the management is doing their best given the COVID nightmare.
And I don’t want to CLAP anymore at 7 pm.
Clapping for the health workers is what all do.
But I’m angry.
I want to yell and start the chant $25.00 AN HOUR. NOTHING LESS.
I want every single worker in America who is BOOTS ON THE GROUND to be financially compensated. What is the clapping but a diversion!
Who is not using the word “REMOTE” in their vocabulary?
I want every such worker to make a minimum wage of 25.00 an hour.
Hell, Switzerland has made 30 euros (25 dollars) an hour MANDATORY. The standard of life in Switzerland is one million times better there than in America any day, but the rents are just as high, the prices just as high as in America, if not higher.
And the workers work just as hard.
But they are guaranteed housing, and healthcare and free education.
THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE.
And the rich PAY HIGH TAX FOR SWITZERLAND TO HAVE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE FOR EVERYONE.
Doesn’t it make sense for those that HAVE to pay higher tax?
Tell me, if you have 120 (give or take) (I heard it is 130ish) billionaires living in NY (both city and state) and I have asked GOV CUOMO, (who I went to Catholic school with his sister MARIA CUOMO in the 70s by the way!) on TWITTER and on EMAIL,
“What if you raised the tax of those billionaires 0.1%!!! Really, I ask you seriously: DO YOU THINK FOR A SECOND THAT THESE HUMAN BEING ENTITIES WOULD SEE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR PROFITS, IN THEIR LIFE?”
Cuomo can’t answer that question.
But if he did, he would say “IT WON’T TOUCH THEM IN THE LEAST.”
These BILLIONAIRES have enough for several lifetimes, so why why why HOARD?
Aw, isn’t this comfy! Our “humble” Governor with ah, who else the ex-mayor TRILLIONAIRE BLOOMBERG who should be paying tax, but is not. Instead he believe in PHILANTROPHY, HA HA, a way of “spreading the wealth?” You gotta be kidding me? THAT NEVER WORKS as reports are showing the facts. PAY TAX BLOOMBERG! But nope, you got your MAFIOSO to protect you and the 113/130? billionaires in NY.
Are the billionaires hoarding wealth because they know the story is over?
Why is the country not organized to shut everything down.
Shut Amazon down.
Shut Whole Foods down.
Shut everything and hold the corporate leaders by their cojones when it comes to 25 and hour plus healthcare etc.
I started this article: DO NOT BELIEVE FOR A SECOND THERE IS NO MONEY.

Do not believe the GOV. CUOMO.
They have the money!
They have 740 billion for the PENTAGON.
They have a few billion for ISRAEL.
They have a few billion for BURMA.

During a pandemic where 300,000 Americans are dead? (I am publishing this in February 2021 and we have 500,000 now. Think about that? And in America this is happening and IVERMECTIN a 75 year old MALARIA drug, is LEGALLY NOT BEING ALLOWED TO SAVE LIVES? Look it up. THIS IS AMERICA.. HOME OF THE “Oh, she is 80 years old.” i.e. she is going to die anyway. A family in Upstate NY, went to COURT to get THE OK TO USE IVERMECTIN… because the DOCTOR REFUSED. They got it. She snapped right out after a few hours. She is fine. But the doctors wanted her dead? LOOK IT UP. This is no conspiracy theory. This is a fact. And I’m not a crazy Trumper. )
And we are sending money to other countries?

Which brings us to the Depression era 1930s “tough guy” movie genre. And that this time reminds me of the 1930s Depression years.
